On Saturday, September 13th, members of both the Socialist Party L.A. and Ventura Locals filled the Los Angeles office to attend Professor Kevin Anderson’s presentation, titled “Rethinking Socialist Humanism after Poststructuralism and Postmodernism.” A lively discussion with Professor Anderson followed the presentation and the L.A. Local asked Professor Anderson if he would consider returning for a future Freedom School. After the discussion, the group joined Professor Anderson for a late dinner (which ran into the early morning hours) in West L.A.
